when i started this blog, i never thought anything would come of it. i was told indie jumbling "wasn't a thing" and that i "didn't have rights to the name" and i "had to call them scramblewords." nevertheless, my scramblewords carried on.
with every jumble i posted, i got stronger. i felt my bones shrake(!).
now, there are over 2000 indie jumblers, in a movement the news called "concerning." we accomplished a lot in one year: we started jumbofiend.com, we made a lot of jumbles, and we met oprah. i just want to say thank you. you are the most beautiful community of redditors i have ever had the pleasure of moderating.

Our society of jumblers here at Jumble Pumple are happy to announce the Howard Binkley Gold Grant for Young Jumblers. Among the recipients for 2024 include: Geoff Schuester, Jasper Om, Rebecca Spurnell, and Frank "The Pope" Hawkley. In the words of the pioneering indie Jumbler Howard Binkley: "Keep jumbling, Jumble People."
